Denial Specialist (Claims Management)

Seeking a self-motivated problem solver to fill the role of Denial Specialist in our busy Claims Management Department. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that providers are appropriately paid for services rendered by identifying the reason for claim denials, investigation options for claim resolution (including claims correction, reconsideration request, appeal, or write-off, when appropriate), taking appropriate action to resolve denials, and preventing future denials by identifying and reporting denial trends at the provider, specialty, and payor level. This position requires a strong attention-to-detail, outstanding communication skills including both oral and written forms, the ability to research medical policies and guidelines in support of medical decision-making, and the ability to format that evidence into reconsideration requests and letters of appeal in favor of payment.  (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm).

 

Medical Assistant or Licensed Vocational Nurse

(General Surgery)

Seeking a motivated and dependable LVN to work full-time in our busy General Surgery Practice. This individual must have excellent communication, patient care, and customer service skill, strong attention-to-detail, and exceptional organizational skills. This individual will be responsible for rooming patients, refilling medications, assisting with procedures and examinations, administering injections, removing dressings and sutures, proper documentation and billing, among various other duties. Current and valid LVN license or Medical Assistant Certification and CPR Certification are required. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. 

 

Medical Assistant or Licensed Vocational Nurse

(Pediatrics)

Seeking a personable and organized individual to work full-time in our busy and growing Pediatrics Department. This individual must have excellent communication, patient care, and organization skills along with a strong attention-to-detail, the ability to work independently and in the team environment. This individual will be responsible for rooming patients, obtaining the history, physical, and vitals, refilling medications, assisting with procedures and examinations, administering immunizations and injections, along with proper documentation and billing, among various other duties. Current and valid LVN License or MA Certification and CPR Certification are required. (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm). 

 

Ophthalmic Technician (Ophthalmology) 

Seeking a self-motivated and focused Ophthalmic Technician to work in our busy Ophthalmology Practice. This individual will be responsible for providing ophthalmology care, assisting the provider and other staff, assessing plans, and implementing and evaluating the care rendered to patients with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems. Specific duties and competencies include performing preliminary screening for exams, diagnostic testing, and recording health history, demonstrating a working knowledge of auto-refractor, A-Scans, IOL Master, visual fields, OCT and corneal photography, among various other duties such as prescription refills, patient triage, maintaining medication stock, and surgery scheduling. The ideal candidate is very patient, focused, kind, honest, and highly self-motivated with initiative. A Licensed Ophthalmic Tech is preferred but candidates with previous Optometry experience will be considered. (Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-5:00 pm)

 

Receptionist (Float Pool)

Seeking an organized and personable Receptionist to work full-time in our busy Clinic. This individual must have a strong attention-to-detail, excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills. This individual will be responsible for scheduling diagnostic appointments, answering phone calls and directing messages, answering patient questions, obtaining pre-authorization and referrals, and maintaining the appropriate forms and documentation, among various other duties. (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm).
